I'm in the process of building a pc for a friend I have provided some parts from what I have laying around and they have sourced the rest
what I have given
asrock z77 extreme4 (two broken mem slots)
i5-2500 non k
4gb samsung 1600 mem
500gb hitachi hdd
and i sourced a 580 lightning off the member market
they have sourced (with out checking with me first)
merc beta case
CM 212 cooler
OCZ ZS Series 550W '80 Plus Bronze'
2 x arctic f12 pro fans (which don't fit in the front of the merc due to mounting system and the fans only have holes on one side)
My concern is that the PSU will not be able to handle the system, the 580 will run at stock and the plan was to push the i5-2500 turbo upto about 3.6-3.8.
Thoughts?
