Do all PSU have the same type of connectors on it?

Nope. Biggest diffs are 20 pin (ATX 1.x) and 24 pin (ATX 2.x), also SATA power, PCI-E 6 pin graphics power, 4 pin P4 aux/8 pin aux.

Generally the only difference with the newer PSU's is some have 20pin ATX Motherboard connectors while others have the newer 24 pin. They nearly all have Sata Power connectors and 6 pin PCIe connectors. these days.
