PSU

now what solid power supply should i get for:
ga-p31-ds3l motherboard
E2140 cpu
antec 900
8800 gt 512mb

and i will be overclocking it

my budget is £50

but then my system dont need 600w, and i remeber changing my old system 250w to 450w with out needing it and it got HOT due to extra watts i think.... so i wana get a psu low as possible so it will be cool as possible.

I have this one, and it's been ace

Running overclocked 6000+, overclocked 2x8800GTs, 4GB RAM, 2HDDs and lots of LED fans/cathodes with ease.

that was the one i was gona get XD

so if i wasnt using the extra power i dont need my cpu wont burn?

also i heard it was quite fiddly with antec 900 case with the wiring, would the cables even reach?

By your post, do you mean if you get a more powerful PSU than you need, it may burn your CPU? :confused:

erm well on my old system the cpu temp jumped from 50 max under load to 70 max under load after i changed the powersupply from 250w to 450w. so i thought it will explode in flames XD

No, it will be fine, I'm sure.

Get a decent after market cooler and get overclocking anyway.
