i have a freind that brought this HP desktop

when buying he added a BFG 8800GT and this psu

but he would like to know if that psu is letting him get the full potential outa his card etc or if its worth upgrading.

God yes 600watts is well over double what you need.

300watt fanless PSU here powering;

X2 3800+ (consumes more power than Core 2 Duos)
3GB RAM
8800GT 512.

I'm not sure about the legitimacy of either of those links in regards to OcUKs policy on competitors so you may want to edit but that Coolermaster PSU is easily sufficient.

sorry bout link i looked to see and OCuk didnt sell that psu and been in usa that it wudnt matter.
