hey im gonna get these components, and i am just seeing if the psu is powerfull enugh..

Corsair HX 520W ATX2.2 Modular

Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - OEM

Abit IP35 Pro (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

BFG GeForce 8800 GT OC 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail

Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (WD5000AAKS)

Western Digital Raptor 74GB 10000RPM SATA 16MB Cache - OEM (WD740ADFD)

Dell Ultrasharp 2208WFP 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Midnight Grey

Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX (2x2GB)

And i will be using some 500 watt speakers.

or should i go with the Corsair HX 620W?

Thanks.

The 520 will suit your needs just fine! Be lucky if that lot exceeds 300W tbh. Why not get the 150Gb raptor instead of the 74Gb. Vista takes up a lot of room on the HD (Assuming you do get it!).

The PSU is easily capable, the monitor and speakers are red herrings really since they won't come off the PSU anyway.

Just one point, I know you simply might not have listed it but the CPU is OEM so doesn't come with a fan unlike the retail version.

thanks for the replys i will have a think about the raptor and i know about the fan ill be getting a Thermalright Ultra-120.

Thanks.
