PSU?

Hi, i'm building a new system and im not sure how much power I will need. Whats the lowest cost PSU that would run this system without being dodgy to use?

A quality 500w psu would be enough for that rig although the Corsair TX650 is a good price on this week only. Cheap and psu's is not a good combination. Never, ever, skimp on the psu. It is the single most important component in a pc. If you buy a cheap psu and it fails it will be extremely likely to take some, if not all, of your components with it.

+1, exstreamly good makes but i would go for the corsair becasue it has 7 year warrenty

A PC Power & Cooling Silencer 420W Power Supply would run it, but I'm not sure if there will be any more stock as it's been mentioned PC Power & Cooling are pulling out of the UK.

This is almost identical to the rig I am building, though I am getting a Phenom x3 that I am hoping to unlock to 4 cores and overclock to 3.2.

I was thinking that the Corsair HX 450 would be a good, and value-for-money, option.

I'm reassured that Sasahara agrees with me... what are others' opinions?

I would get 500 watts + maybe even 650 like the others recommended. Corsair or Bequiet
