Hi,

I recently upgraded my PC albeit on a tight budget to start with.

It a AMD Phenom II X6 1055T (125W), 4GB Hyper X Blue RAM

This is the board i have:

I've noticed the power by the VGA port requires 2x4 pins - My PSU only has 1x4 pin 12V..

Can anyone recommend a more suitable PSU - or is one not needed?

Sorry for the dumb question - i've just never come accross a board with that connector before.

Any help would be great,

Thanks,

Carl.

You would be fine running with just 4, are you looking to do any big over clocks?

Edit: What make / model PSU are using at the moment?

not really - am happy with upgrading from an old Athlon XP 2800/ 1GB RAM system for now.

Is there any difference between the 4 pin and 8 pin CPU connectors?
