hmm, not sure if this should be in graphics cards but anyway...

just wondering whether anyone has any idea what sort of wattage PSU one will need for a vista capable machine and DX10 graphics card?

im debating whether to stick my current one in a low-spec PC im building or buy a low power PSU for that and keep my current one for when Vista comes out.

It is difficult to say exactly how much you will need in terms of power but I'd suggest that your PSU ought to be fine as it stands(assuming it is the one in your signature). Conroe is meant to use less power and I'm not too sure about AM2 although I think it also uses the same or less than most current chips. As for graphics cards, I suspect power requirements will remain roughly on a par with those available now.

cool, thanks. I hear that a mid-range PC doesn't use anywhere near as much power as the PSU describes so I'm hoping I'm gonna be ok for a bit.
