PSU's - Whats the difference??

Hi,

Can you kindly advise me as to what the difference is between these two PSU's? As a friend told me number one is much better than number 2 altho I can't see how.....

1) Antec SmartPower 2.0 500W 500PGB PSU - AtX 2.01 Dual

2) Antec NeoHE 500W Modular ATX2.0 PSU

Please advise comments

Well the obvious differences there is the fact that one is Modular and the other is not.
Modular basically meaning the cables you don't need or use can be detached from the PSU, keeping the case more tidy and often giving improved air flow inside the case. :)
 
I'm not sure where your friend got that idea - as Traducer said number two is modular and I think it's meant to be much quieter as well. According to silent pc review the NeoHE series rivals the Seasonics for quietness
