So my HX1000 is probably one of the more noisy parts of my PC, and I wish to replace it with a PSU with hybrid fan. I'm looking for something around 500w as I don't plan to go down the multi GPU route. Looking at OcUK however there doesn't seem much left, I see there are some Seasonic ones but they seem a bit pricey. Are there any other PSUs that turns off the fan when the PSU is on low load?

It does look good but the thing that bothers me is the size, I was hoping for something smaller than my HX1000 as I find it pretty long in my Lian Li V354 case.
How about the Corsair AX760? Fair jump in price but I wouldn't mind if it met my requirements more. Or maybe I should just bite the bullet and give the Leadex 650w a go

The AX760 is £120!!! what a rip off.
