psu's?

looks like my psu is on the way out and was wondering what you would recommend for this rig?

C2D X6800 extreme edition

Gigabyte GA 965P-DS3 mobo

X1900XTX gfx

2 gig DDR-2 800 OCZ Gold ram (4*512 sticks iirc Sad )

300gig sata HD

along with this i'm thinking of upgrading the gfx and maybe ram within the next couple of month's any suggestions there as well?

What is your budget for the parts as that may make a difference? But for starters I'd suggest a Corsair HX 520w and Ram-wise you could get a 4gb PC6400 OCZ kit for ~£80 at the moment. Graphics card, I'd go with an 8800GT or perhaps a new 8800GTS when they are released.

ok thnx but would the 520 be up to the job? or would it be worth going for something a bit bigger? as far as budget goes i'm gonna concentrate on the psu first so around £100 ish for that if possible?

You could go for a larger PSU if you wanted, there is an HX 620w but it is only really necessary if you have tens of hard drives or dual graphics cards. Other than that the 520w is more than capable.
