Excuse me young man but when I was a lad, mid seventies, a night out at the pub would have totalled around £2. Night clubs were called discotheques. I'll get me coat.

£10 on the door of the warehouse
£15 for xtc, £5 for lsd
£1 Stella or water
£15 Henry of skunk

Early 90's, without phones, the internet or social media, you had to find out where the hell the warehouse rave or rave in a random field actually was.

That was part of the fun - the easiest way was to ring the police and pretend to be a concerned parent and they would normally be kind enough to give you the address.

Outside of cities and large towns are there enough pubs left to call it a pub crawl.

My town had 15 pubs it's now got 9
