Pub Quiz Help

Hey guys, i've been asked to create a pub quiz.

Basically its about Famous TV and Movies. There will be a line of dialogue played over the speakers of the original and a remake and the question will be something along the lines of "What is the film called and who is the original actor and the actor in the remake."

For example "You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!"
Who is the original actor? - Michael Caine
Who is the remake actor? - Mark Wahlberg
Film? - The Italian Job.

Ok basically i need a list of famous films that have been remade, a recent one is Total Recall.
 
Get carter, Alfie, to name but a couple more Caine films for starters

Infernal affairs/the departed

I was going to suggest "The Day the Earth Stood Still", but I checked and "Klaatu Barada Nikto" is used in a different scene in the remake, by a different character. So that's my suggestion rendered useless. :D
 
Taxi had a remake although whoever thought that a cool French dude could be adequately replaced by Queen Latifah needs a slap upside the head. I've never watched the remake though so don't know if they used the same lines or not.

Are you also counting what are essentially remakes as well? e.g. Seven Samurai was the basis for the Magnificent Seven. I doubt you'll find too many people who could tell you the original actors in Seven Samurai mind. Or Point Blank (Lee Marvin) & Payback (Mel Gibson).
 
could you count the new Star Trek Film as a remake?

if so something like "live long and prosper"

Planet of the apes but have no idea about similar quotes
