PUBG seems I WAS GPU limited

So here's something interesting, or not as the case may be.

All I've changed is taking out 970's in SLI and throwing a 1080 in there.

Basically performance is night and day better, smooth with no hitching.
Could only get 45-60 fps on low settings now 80-90fps on high.

I'll tell you for free the game is a lot more immersive!

Before my performance was atrocious.

I can also see the VRAM going above 3.5GB where a 970 starts to run out of fast memory...

Playing at 2560x1440

8600K CPU to go in later this week will be interesting to see.

SLI had problems in the 90's and still has problems now and I guess always will.

A rich mans plaything for those who think more money means better performance.

PUBG runs pretty well on a 970 at 1080p.

Looking forward to seeing how a 1070Ti hangles it at 1080 (until i can afford a 1440p monitor!)
