Hi,

I need a PC upgrade to play this game as my current one struggles with load times and it gets a bit frustrating. Plus I've just played it on my friends gaming rig and I'm a tad jealous of his ultra settings where as I'm playing on very low settings! I'm currently only running on a 1080p monitor too so doesn't require 4k.

I don't really have that much free time so I'm reluctant at spending too much, but would want a PC that lasts at least a couple of years before another upgrade.

I'm hoping my PSU would be sufficient for a decent card. I've looked at the 1070's as my interest but do I really need this card if PUBG is the only game I will really be playing? If it will increase the performance a lot then I would be happy to go down this route.

In terms of processor, I've read the I7 is the better v's Ryzan. I wouldn't mind a 4.0 GHz processor as my current is pretty weak and struggles.

Can I reuse my CPU cooler or should I upgrade to something such as a Corsair H60?

What sort of Ram should I be looking at? obviously it would be DDR4 but there are so many different MHz I just want one that will be average and efficient.

I'm looking to spend less than £1000 on upgrades. Ideally I would prefer it to be closer to £500 for the time I will get to play games, but that is not even going to cover a 1070 and if needs must I will have to purchase finance to deliver my gaming needs.

As you can see from the photo I have two large fans, one at the bottom and one white one in the top left

Also would I get at least £100 back for selling the bits I would exchange from my old PC or am I being too optimistic?

Many thanks for reading

I didn't even realize that my GPU is still even considered okay till i googled some. I would prefer to upgrade it mind to something a little better as I've had it 2+ years now.

I play everything on very low. It's the load times and everything. I often only get into the game when the plane starts rather than actually in the lobby. My friends PC he's in the lobby before the timer even counts down.

Obviously I will be waiting till January now to purchase but wouldn't mind some preparation to know what to look for
