Every dns server does, heck my router caches 10K of addresses Isps re-route to add supports suggestions like open dns, google officially doesn't use it's dns data for advertising directly. However google is also the worlds largest advertiser and exists solely to make a profit. I somehow doubt they spent a fortune on storing all that dns data out of pure charity
If you don't mind google knowing every connection use theirs, if not open dns - personally I've found open dns to be slightly quicker/more reliable with better controls but googles seemed hit and miss for a while. Not sure if they've improved.
