E.g. "You're a terrible friend, I've changed my mind - yours or mine?"
 
This guy did not have to share this...! in all fairness the girl could be more of a get to know person then lets **** and be serious straight away, I mean when I met my misses we been together 3 years now, I ****ed the life out of her for about 12 hours a day for 6 months, now shes preg with twins...

Not at this point, no. Friendship is far more important than one-off sex.

but the reason why I did this is because the reason why she said this is because we both agree we get on really well so figured rather than ruin it, let her feelings for me grow and maybe she'll want me as a more permanent fitting than a one night stand.....

That's the "flame on" point. Although I wouldn't flame you for it myself, because you're just wrong. Not wrong in a flameworthy way, just wrong. It's almost certain you'll remain a platonic friend and she'll think of you asexually. The usual framework is either "like a brother" or "like a female friend". Either way, asexual.

It's not always like that, of course, but much more often than not.
