Yes indeed, I got my shots published in this weeks AP :)

They've featured pictures from my recently completed London gallery.
Want to see what all the fuss was about ? please check out London

Really good photos! Always feel that I don't do mine justice with the processing. Yours have that glossy magazine look about them.

Cool - I haven't read this weeks issue yet but I'll pay special attention. I love the Roca photos, and the Daily Express Building photo - how did you get inside?

Well done and well deserved, love your work Mark. Id imagine with your portfolio you are finding it easier to get access to these amaseing places

Nice one, congrats. Some nice pics in your website as well.
Thank you :)

I honestly don't know how I get that look.
I'm never satisfied with my own PP.

For the Roca shots, I just emailed them to ask if I could visit and they said "yes". As long as the photos are for personal use, they should say it's OK.
The D.E.B. was open to the public when I visited, for the "Open London" event, which takes place each September.

Sometimes it's easy to get permission and sometimes the places I contact don't even bother to reply.
Some even want to charge me to visit, I don't bother with those places.
The secret is, to just keep emailing the locations or try to find contact info for the person at the top.
Also, set your email client to ask for "receipts", this can help you know if they have received your email, but, can't be bothered to reply.

Congratulations - some great shots there.

Thank you :)

well done.

I really like the use of symmetry for all the architecture shots.

Thank you :)
I always try a shoot a symmetrical photo when I can. Ideally, I need to get it millimetre perfect.
I did mess up on a few shots (King's Cross Station).

Superb engineering deserves superb pictures - Nice work :)

Thank you :)

Many congratulations! The compositions especially are top notch for a lot of them. Well deserved :)

You're aware that giving a read receipt is optional, right? I disable even the prompt asking me if I want to :p

Yes I do. But, some people don't realise there's an option.
I block sending out receipts too.

When a place I've contacted, asking if I can visit to take photos, doesn't bother to reply.
I always quote the "read receipt" (when applicable) in my second email, just to let them know, that I know, they've read my message and not bothered to reply.
They usually reply then.

excellent.

Thank you :)
