Publisher alternative

Is there a good alternative for Microsoft Publisher?

Is PagePlus one? Will it do all that publisher does and more?

I have designed some invoice templates with publisher but no longer have use of the software and don't want to pay the high price for it.

yeah the Serif PagePlus is much better and its very easy to use. Also Corel Draw for posters and stuff

LibreOffice or Scribus, perhaps?
