Hi guys,

I am trying to create an A5 booklet (around 6 pages) which will be printed on standard A4 paper, however I just can't understand how to do this on Word or Publisher. Is it 1/2 A4 Booklet, A5 booklet, A4 booklet?

I can't seem to get the right setting...

Thanks

Probably select A5 booklet, make it and print it off on A4 and trim it.

Been years since I used Publisher but it should be pretty straight forward, do a test print with junk on the booklet first to check especially if you're doing duplex printing (both sides) so they're aligned and rotated properly.

In Publisher 2010 I've just opened a standard A4 portrait document. I then went to Page Design and chose the Size option, which is just under the Page Design text. At the bottom of the menu is a set of three option, the first one is Page Setup.

Click on that and you get a menu with three columns in effect: Page, Layout type and Preview. The Layout type is a dropdown menu. It'll probably be on 'One page per sheet'. Change that to 'Booklet' and Publisher will assume, or at least it did for me, that you want to keep A4 size paper but change it to landscape orientation and, it appears to me, A5 landscape pages. Publisher will then ask if you want to add more pages so that you have at least 4 pages worth and will advise you add pages in multiples of 4.

Hope this helps. If not, I can email the file I've got to your trust?

I'll try it out - thanks!
