Publisher

When opening publisher the computer blue screens and restarts. tried re-installing.

When I have to open publisher files at work (ones that were created before I persuaded the powers that be to get Quark), I often have problems with it. It's very reluctant to start, either just by itself or when I've double clicked a publisher file, but not had it crash on me.

First thing I'd do is uninstall and reinstall to see if that solves the problem. But as you say, you've already tried that.

My next step would be to trawl through microsofts knowledge base to see if there's anything on there that might help.

Also, has it worked in the past? Have you installed anything new, either software or hardware since it last worked???

its never worked on this particular pc iirc.

looked on microsoft but that gets tiresome very fast. applied office sp3 but i dunno if that does out to publisher anyway
