puchased W7 home edition but need pro

i need to run some xp compatible programs on W7 home premium edition oem but now realise i will need pro to be able to use xp mode- something i did not realise at time of purchase

i realise i am unable to sell on the oem version....... so what is the cheapest way of upgrading to pro?

Can't you get away with setting the executables properties to run in compatibility mode?

I think you can upgrade your version in windows

thanks will try this before going down the route of pro and xp mode.

What are you planning on running that needs the XP mode?

If you have an XP license kicking about you could use Vrtualbox instead.

failing the compatibility mode, go to control panel, system & security, system , and the top box says upgrade you windows 7
