Hi everyone, my mates car recently developed a problem. The speedometer, rev gauge and fuel gauge have just stopped working. The car is a Pug 106 Quicksilver. Just wondering if anyone knows what the problem could be really.

Thanks

Sounds like either the instrument panel has packed up or a connectoin is loose at the back of it. French electrics are about as reliable as British Rail tbh. Either have a look behind the dash (if you know what you're doing) or have a family member/trusted local garage sort it.

Alternatively, a pug main stealer will have a look and charge lots of money to do it!

Check Fuse 1 iirc in the fuse box. Also unplug battery for 10 mins and plug back in to check its not ecu playing funny buggers.

Hes checked the fuses and they seem fine. I did read over HERE about the fault afecting the Pug 306 ...

306 All engines
Fault:
The Tachometer, Fuel Guage and Speedometer are not working.
Cause:
Instrument panel has Faulty Microprocessor.
Solution:
Replace the instrument panel assembly

Ill get him to disconnect the battery just incase.
