i remember in cs3 there was a funky little feature whereby you could choose 4 points of a painting (or anything on an angle) and it would pull it out to a flat perspective... anyone know if you can do this in cs4?

nono thats the opposite, i'm talking about if you've got a photo of a painting on a wall at an angle, photoshop has a very fast way of pulling that photo into a 2d plane - you select the corners and then up pops a 2d version :)

any ideas?

But you can do that with the perspective tool. Maybe I'm missing what you want to do, can you post an example?

ahhhhh i've remembered how to do it, and maybe its what you were telling me but i misunderstood but you use the crop tool and tick the perspective box, then you can individually drag the corners and when you press return it does the business :)

EDIT: in fact, your link did indeed tell me how to do just that - sorry :( - all good now though :)
