Pulling info from other sites

Hi all,

As part of my teams job the need to be able to discuss news from all over the place.

What would I need to look at in order to be able to pull info from other websites (news, gossip etc) and then display it on a single page for them to read?

pull in rss feeds? if so that's really easy....but I'm guessing that's not quite what you're after...

Probably a mixture of RSS feeds and trawling sites for specific articles.

Basically, any info or methods I can look into that I can use to build one
