pulsebox running xmbc NAS system needed

hi guys/gals
Just brought a pulsebox running xmbc (is on the way) which will be running all of my films & music ..
Which NAS will be suited for my needs ?
Am using a PS3 on my TV at the moment which is recieving films from my desktop pc upstairs (not kid friendly this way) ..
Hoping a NAS system will be the answer hold all files on this & the pulsebox running xmbc software will find all files (films & music)...

The NAS will have to stream 3d SBS films & blu-ray files aswell as normal dvd files . And hold 2x3tb drives min to start with
Dont know what format they will be in yet more homework needed
Any views & links would be a great help

What is your budget and will you want to move beyond 2 bays in the future?

A DS212j is a 2 bay unit that should be more than sufficient for streaming duties.
