Hiya.

I need some help and advice please.

Here goes.

I've modded a 700d case to accept a 480 rad in the bottom chamber like the new 900d or the tj07. I also have a 360 rad mounted into the roof.

I need to know if a d5 vario will be good enough on its own to push the coolant round the loop or do you think 2 of these pumps in series would be better.

There will also be a tube res, cpu block, ram block and deffinately one but maybe 2 gpu blocks to factor in as well, and possibly a mobo block.

Any help would be appreciated. Any experience with a 900d or tj07 would be really welcome.

Thanks

you're probably at the point when dual pumps may be recommended as you need head pressure over flow.

dual dcp 4.0's should offer you substantial head pressure without breaking the bank :)

You can increase the d5 supply voltage to a max of 24 volts to increase pressure or go dual pump as suggested above.

Check this speed controller here martinsliquidlab .

You can also get a cheap dc dc converter off the auction site. One thing you need to check is some of these controller is capable of output of more than 24 volts

so it needs to be monitored, one way is to use a dvm during setting up so as not to apply more than 24 volts to the pump.

One drawback of this setup though is increased heat and pump noise generated by the pump.
