Hi all,

two things,

XSPC X2O 200 Single Bay Reservoir Pump - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-007-XS - is this thing noisy like the reviews are saying? as something like this would be perfect for me.

If not, can anyone else recommend another combo? I dont really want to spend anymore on that.

Also, if I was to go for a pump seperate, would something like this suffice or is it too underpowered and only for use in smaller systems, at the moment I am only looking at cooling a CPU, maybe looking at GPU in the future.

That would be fine :)
maybe get the OcUK tech labs pump res combo for it?

Out of curiosity what are the X2O 450 12V Pump/Reservoir units like that are in some of the OcUK bundle kits?

Ah yeah didn't notice. Well I have picked up a temp 120mm rad from MM for a fiver. It's only a temp.

I have specced the other bits from OcUK store, if a Waterblock comes up in MM ill grab it. Total cost is going to be around £105ish

I'm sure you'll be able to get one for ~£30

I just have one question, will the pump/res combo included see me through if I wanted to upgrade to a 240mm RAD and an addition of a GPU waterblock?
yes, but if you have the money, a better pump would be nice :)
Delivery expected tomorrow.
We expect pics :p

Will do :) Pics of the loop "should" be up by the end of the weekend, I need to concentrate on the OS install first, starting tonight now my Coolermaster Evo CPU cooler has arrived, which will soon be on the MM.

Yeah sorry bud, got caught up last night I wanted to get my Windows install polished off, so when the WC is installed I dont have to faff about with installing windows.

Doing it this morning, CPU Block on, rad going in next :)

About the rad

Is it better to have the rad in the case, with a fan on the inside of the case pushing air from the case through the rad out through the rear of the rad?

Here is a pic of the loop so far, I have just installed the tubing, not sure if I should shorten some of them.

ignore the messyness of the case, im still mid install

Being leak tested :)

I have a bunch of pics which I am going to put in a project log at some point soon, so I only have these two for now, the rest will be included in the log.

Looks good, these kits have come on since I last looked. (years ago) interested in seeing some results from that chip you got.

Yeah I am quite impressed with the kit, much easier to put together the last and only other time I tried watercooling years ago.

This was a doddle and so far going good, strong compressed joints and no leaks sprung :) Just want to see what sort of temps going, I am tempted to stick another fan on the front of the rad to put it in a push pull config rather than a pull.

Keep an eye out for my thread in Project Logs coming soon.
