Hi,

Quick question, I am build a water cooling rig and want to know if you could answer this: will this res: Aqua Computer Aqualis XT 880ml with fill level sensor and lighting option, G1 / 4 go with this pump: Eheim Universal 1260 Pump - 230v Mains?

Thanks.:):D:D

Any particular reason you need a 2k+ Ltrs per hour pump? I don't know of any g1/4 connectors that are 1" or even 3/4" biggest I've seen is 1/2"(as well as tubing) so based on that no unfortunately not.

Why not get a d5 or ddc 18w ultra? Much cheaper and just as powerful. Without the need for a mains connection.

You can get an aqualis adapter base for d5 or ddc pumps that go with specific aqualis adapter ready resevoirs. You'll have to look at a competitor's site but you should find it easier enough googling aquacomputer uk.
And I agree with Mynight. That pump is a tad overkill in the majority of loops

*LOL* I understand wanting more power, but unless your loop is like 12m long maybe a bit too much?

Yeah maybe :)

If I went for a drive bay res: Monsoon D5 Premium Dual Series Two 5.25in Reservoir - Blue to cool the cpu, motherboard chipset. Could you recommend a high performance pump?

Then a second water cooling loop to cool two GPUx2(AMD) with a Cylinder Reservoir, but which pump would you recommend for that? I will be using the corsair 900D case, so it doesn't matter about size.

Thanks your time! :)

the monsoon can take 2 d5 pumps in it, for just 2 gpu's you can use another d5 with a resevoir mount, ek do a couple. I like the look of the aqualis resevoirs with the pump attatched to them myself.

Would this work: For the motherboard and chipset the monsoon with this pump Laing D5-Pumpe 12V D5 Solar- 38/700 B.

Then for the 2 GPUs the res:Aqua Computer Aqualis XT 880ml and what pump would I need for that res?

Thanks for your time Hakanese, sorry about all these questions; you have been really fantastic! :)

I demand pictures of this :D sounds like an epic project.

Nice choice of case :)

Yeah! thanks mate, I see you have the 900D case?

I would send you pictures of it but it wont be done for a while yet, if you want add me as a friend and when I do finish it I will send images of the finished build

:D

Indeed I do :) I love the case. One of the best workouts I've had trying to bleed the loop haha.

Can't rush perfection mate ;) ill add you as a friend and wait in anticipation :)

Have fun :)

Aqua Computer Aqualis XT 880ml is a stand alone res, you just get any pump with a pump top and then just connect with tubes.
Aqualis base for pump adapters 880 ml with fountain effect and nano coating, with Aquacomputer pump adaptor for D5 pumps for aqualis with fill level measurement will for a pump/res combo unit that you can mount to the wall of the case.
I believe the XT versions are stand alone res units or have the adapters attatched for Aquastream /Eheim pumps.
But tbh go with what you want to try out and like the look of.
And I want to see log pics of the build too :)
You may as well start a thread on Project logs section of the forum, and good luck with the build

+1

Rushing your pet build is a no no, we do what we do for the love of it..
That and epic overclocks and framerates :)

Alright when I start my build, I will log the project and post a thread.
Also, I will include you in it as you have both helped me out and seem like nice people.

Also Hakanese thanks for the advice!

Yeah I agree, rushing is bad and creates errors, im making a excel spread sheet and the lot before I start this project.

Thanks again and make sure you both add me as a friend! :):)
