Pump Dampening

Just wondering what people around here find best for putting under a pump to stop it vibrating?

Do most people just use foam etc, or is there something better that is cheap?

What pump? If its a D5 variant then use foam/gel pads. If its a DDC with an alphacool top then you can buy a dampening kit (£5) that allows you to mount it in a HD bay and this also cuts out most of what little vibration there is.

Also if it`s a DDC pump putting that gell stuff undeneath it could cause heat problems.

I have a DDC with Alphacool top and the rubber mounts are excellent, no vibration at all really, just a slight hum.

I have a DDC with an alphacool top,
But my case don't have any 3.5 bays

Yep, my pump used to make a racket, but stuffing some sponge between the contact points solved that.
