Hi guys

I'm using the gigabyte z390 aorus master mobo.

I'm using the barrowch 17w PWM 960LPH pump.
Its plugged into SYS_Fan5 header 4 pin as instructed in the mobo manual.

I've set curves for the fans and pump in the bios.

So when I'm on the desktop the pump sits at 1860rpm, loading origin the pump starts to kick in and when in game (apex) the pump is going along at 3600rpm which is to quick.

Before It was set to 2300rpm at all times.

I have no idea what's happened?

It seems that when the cpu or gpu are unload the pump kicks into overdrive.

Is the pump defected?
The minus button on the pump doesn't seem to work to bring down the speed.

The pump is connected to a barrow distribution panel.

Thanks :)

It's more likely to be a system config problem than a fault pump, as it's responding to system load/temp right?

Are the fans behaving in the same way?

I'd double check the BIOS settings. Make sure it's tied to the correct temp sensor, minimums and maximums are correct etc.

Just to confirm, you're saying you've set curves but you mean originally the "curve" was a 2300RPM straight line?

Also double check it's plugged into the header you think it is :)
