Pump making a noise?

Hi All,

Just recently fitted a watercooling setup.

I have used the xspc res & pump combo.

The pump / res is making a noise like a HDD does when it is loading. Is this to do with air in the system?

There are no bubbles in the tubing, just a bit in the res, however there is no way of getting the air out of the res?

Is this something that will just go away in time?

I fitted the kit yesterday, been running a few hours now.

Cheers

The air is supposed to collect in the res, as the air collectsin the res is shows that the water level is dropping and you need a little top up.
If you think you have trapped air, set the system running and gently rock the machine from side to side to dislodge any trapped bubbles.

Found out it is acctually the water coming back into the res making the noise.

Ran out of fluid to fill up aswell :(

Will need to buy another bottle and that should quieten it right down :)
