Pump on fan controller

I had my EK pump 4.0 connected to my fan controller with no problems, I am about to install a Swifttech DDC MCP 355 pump.
Need to know if I connect it to my controller will it work ok to turn it up or down if need be, as it will mean altering the wired conection to the pump from molex to 3 pin plug.

tbh i dont think it matters what plug / connector you use it should work fine

i would just make a adaptor cable so you dont have to cut either the wire from the controller or that of the pump and try it

I have my Swiftech DDC connected up to a Scythe Kazer master and it works fine, shows me the rpm reading and warns me if it's stopped working.
