Hey,

I currently have an EK X res 250 and a DCC pump, the pump has an EK Xtop V2 on the top of it with the res feeding the pump by a small length of tubing,

with my rebuild i wanna eliminate the tube between the res and pump and have it as one unit,

ive been googling seen the Xres 100 tops but i dont really wanna replace my res or pumps as theres nothing wrong with them, and the 100 is a bit short for my design,

can i get just the bit so i can attach my current res onto the pump or do i need to either buy a different pump or res?

I hope that made sense as i started to confuse myself reading it back :\

I did something similar a couple of years back and as far as I know you can buy the XRES 100 without the pump but not without the tube res as well.

You may be able to use your existing tube res if you need a longer one but I'm not sure it'll fit due to EK revising the designs a couple of times.

I am fairly sure EK used to have separate pump tops with reservoir mount SKUs, but I can't seem to find them anymore.
Anyways, what you need is essentially the "middle" piece in this one, the block with the ports and silver EK logo:

Unfortunately I do not know where to get it.

Thats the badger, ive been looking at those but i dont really need the res, the one i have is longer, ive emailed EK directly to see if they are interchangable, looking at the dimensions and the dimensions on the box of mine they are the same,

I guess ill wait to see what they suggest,

Thanks guys

I've recently built a watercooling setup for my son using the EK DDC top and a very similar res to yours. I have used a matt black male to male G1/4 fitting to mate the two together. Works great. OCUK have a few types in the store.
