Pump/reservoir combo in and out help!

Ok so always followed the instructions with the in and out holes on my waterloop parts.

I want to maybe use the fill hole on my reservoir as part of my loop. Is this possible and what wpuld I be replacing? The inlet or outlet? The pump/res combo being on its side sort of points at this as an obvious solution to help with the crampednes inside my case.

The fill hole can be considered a return/inlet in most cases, which pump/res is it? It can be an issue when it comes to r to fill or drain though, remember you'll need two openings - one from liquid/air to go in, one for air/liquid to come out.

It is the smallest d5 res/pump combo from ekwb.

I think I'm scrapping that idea and just rearranging my loop to make a drain point actually work. My last 1 was mid point of my loop so would not drain much at all. PITA.

Draining is the only problem I'm having with such a small case.
