I'm just sticking my pump back into my loop, and i was wondering if there's any advantage to adjusting the speed of the pump, its a Laing with 5 speed settings. I've always just had it set on the top speed, is there any advantage to lowering the speed of the flow when it comes to performance?, or is fastest always best?

Ta.

I found flow to have minimal impact on temperature. Most articles will tell you to have an optimal flow of 1GPM(Gallons Per Minute), But I have ran my loop with 0.2GPM(yes I have measured it with a AQ FLow meter) and I saw only 2C difference between 0.2GPM and 0.5GPM.
My CPU does not go over 52C at full load(IBT) and GPU never go over 42C(heaven 3.0) ata room temp of 25C.

Most will set it to 2 in a D5.
I have it at 5 just because I cant hear any deference in noise between 2 and 5.

I have mine on the lowest setting as coolant moving through radiators will achieve more cooling potential due to being there longer (theory)
