Hi guys,

I've got my loop apart at the moment following a leak on the CPU block. I'm waiting for a replacement to turn up but I'm considering adding a few extra bits on before I re-fill.

I'm currently running an EK DCP 2.2 with attached res and it's pumping through an EK Supremacy and a pair of 240mm rads. I may one day add the GPU to it as well but I'm not sure at the moment.

Temps seem fine and it's a lovely silent pump, I'm just wondering if I'm asking too much of it if I start adding more in? I don't want to risk it dieing and having to re-do the whole loop again!

Will it still be ok with my loop or is it worth upgrading whilst I've got everything apart and if so what's recommended? (I've got an Aquaero if that helps)

If it is working fine i woudlnt change it tbh, they are prety decent, if you do want to upgrade take a look at perhaps a ddc all in one or a d5 all in one. but i wouldnt change it unless you really have to tbh, but up to you

some choices if you do want to change

XSPC D5 Photon 170 Reservoir/Pump Combo

EK Water Blocks EK-D5 Vario X-RES 140 (incl. pump)

EK Water Blocks EK-DDC 3.2 PWM X-RES 140

I presumed since your already using a all in one you would still want to so i liniked those only.

They all have there own pros and cons all work jsut as well as each other, although the pwm variants are supposed to be harder to bleed due to the defualt speed at wchich they operate without a signal to the pwn cable,

Anyhow hope it helps

EDIT:The advantage with the EK ones are that you can change the tube size from the default it comes with to a 400 x3 tube if you like, which is a deal breaker to some

If it's still considered a decent pump I'll keep it, I just didn't want to over-stress it and send it to a premature grave by asking too much of it!

Thanks for your reply :)
