Pump stopped working?

i really need help as for some reason my pump has suddenly stopped working (it wasn't working when i switched on my pc)

any ideas guys?

Power cable become loose, this has happened to me before.

ive disconnected the power from it and reconnected it and it still doesn't work

keep tapping the side of the pump, be quite forceful with it, I had the same with mine when filling the system, air must be trapped in it

I nearly gave up on mine, I thought it was dead but I kept tapping and it fired up

its still not working

the part that spins round to pump the water isnt moving

maybe you need to strip it and flush the system in case of any debris that could be blocking it, at least then you can test the pump easier

You don't have it on any fan controllers do you? unplug the molex and check it is okay one of the metal connectors had popped out on mine once.

Just seen on another thread that you got the xspc reservoir top same as me, it could be that you didn't tighten it enough or trapped the o-ring and water has got inside the pump.

i don't know i bought the pump from another member of the forum and it came like that and yes i have emailed him about it

So you bought the pump/res together already fitted?

If you've checked the 4pin molex/power delivery is all okay then all you can really do is drain the loop and check the pump more closely by removing the 4 screws from the bottom, have any drops water come out of the bottom of the pump at all?
