Punkbuster and BF2

I was playing bf2 happily for a while then suddenly get some weird message

"you have been kicked by punkbuster reason OS privelages or something"

Anyone had this or got around it, its doing my nut in

Manually update PB in the BF folder.

As malc30 said, manually update PunkBuster, and also make sure you're not running the game on a limited user account (use an admin account.)

you just have to keep trying , its punkbuster throwing its teddy out the pram, its happended to me before, then it just clears up and works fine :confused:

Are you sure you are updating this properly as it is a bit awkward.
This really needs sorting before tuesday dude.
You have to put the exe.file in the Bf2 PB folder then click on it. You will see a dos box come up and it will tell you it has done it correctly.

If you have done this then i would try downloading the Full 1.3 patch and patching over the top. I did this myself when the Incremental didn't work.

Also do you have other user accounts on your system, if so switch them off.
Post back your ideas thoughts and lets get this sorted before Tuesday.
