Punkbuster keeps booting me (BF4)

So I built a new gamer PC for my son out of old parts and to try it out I have installed BF4 (the only game I've been in to over the past 20 years ).

I keep getting booted after 5-10 minutes gameplay.

I can only think that it's something to do with the fact that I copied the game files over from the old build in order to avoid having to download the 40Gb of stuff. It did verify all the files and I've tried a game installation "repair".

Any ideas folks?

Have you reinstalled punkbuster from the website? Just in case a fresh install fixes it?

TBH I didn't know you could, thought it was just a component of Origin/BF4.

I have a vague memory of this happening to me back when I used to play it, if I remember correctly I manually installed PB like mentioned above.
