Punto Mk2 - Getting to the battery from inside?!

Just fitting a remote central locking kit to my sisters MK2 Punto, and ive come to wiring the 2 last wires to the positive and negative on the battery, but i cannot for the life of me find a way through to the engine bay via a gromet or anything from the inside. Just wondering if anyone knows of a way or any access there is from the inside?
 
Just to let you know, i found a way in behind the pedals, was a nice little gromet which came out behind the engine! All sorted now!
