Hi, first of all let me say that I know what GD is like and the kind of response I am about to get ;)

But I thought, in amongst the "call it zx spectrum" style responses there might be some gold.

We're getting a male beagle puppy in a matter of weeks and still have yet to think of a name that rings with all of us.

So far we have thought of "Gus" which we are OK with - we want a snappy name but its not fantastic imo.

Can I please get some reccomendations for a male beagle puppy name.

I associate Beagles with old policing so I'd call him Sherlock or Watson. I prefer Watson of the two.

We got a puppy a few months ago and called him Indiana. Anyone who's seen The Last Crusade will know why.
