Long-time lurker, first time poster.

I feel slightly embarrassed posting yet another thread for monitor advice, but the countless threads I've looked through don't really give me a solid answer.

I have a budget of £250 (could potentially be stretched to £300 absolute maximum if I catch the missus on a good day, or don't bother telling her!)

I'm predominantly doing Photoshop design work (print and web), gaming slightly (MMOs mainly; FFXIV & Rift) and also require a fair bit of workspace as I do music production in my spare time (Ableton, Reason, etc)

I'm using a 4 year old Samsung 2232BW and an old Sharp 19" LCD as an extended display for Photoshop panels & VST windows, etc. It's not really an ideal scenario as both monitors differ greatly.

Anyway, to cut to the chase; I've been looking at either going for a 27" TN Panel (This one caught my eye) which would be perfect for large Photoshop & Production workspace but I am worried due to it being a TN panel I would lack the 'clarity' in colour and sharpness that a 23" IPS panel could provide.

23" IPS Panels I've been looking at are; This, This and This. The latter is obviously out of my budget, but could be an option if I have the patience to save up for it.

I basically want to make an educated buy, as opposed to a shot in the dark. I know I've massively over-explained, but it's a fairly hefty purchase for me to make and It's gotta be the right one for my situation.

Hoping for anyone's comments on what would be the best purchase for my needs. The Photoshop/Design aspect is by far the highest factor.

Cheers in advance ;)

The Hazro 27" is worth the extra if you have an Nvidia gfx card, it seems to be a bit random with ATI; otherwise id probably get the Asus, its a lot cheaper and Dell seem to be very heavy on the anti glare coatings.

The solution I'd opt for is to keep the Samsung 2232BW and get the HZ27WC. For web-work you most likely want to keep a TN-panel so you know what 99% of your target-group is going to see (for example: light gray text on a white background is usually a bad idea with TN-panels). You can keep gaming on it as well if your graphicscard lacks the power to game comfortably on the Hazro. The 2560x1440 will massively increase your available workspace (I was pleasantly surprised by it and I'm used to 1920x1200).

I wanted to mention that if you do end up gaming on the old samsung a cheap monitor arm to swing the monitor in place might be a good idea... but the Samsung isn't vesa compatible so that's not gonna work.
[edit]
I think a dual monitor setup is a good workaround for most ATI/Hazro compatibility issues when booting as well? Not sure about that but most complaints seem to come from people using a single monitor setup (or multiple monitor - but all Hazro setup).

Thanks for the comments, greatly appreciated.

You've definitely swung me on the Hazro, and the price drop at the moment is the perfect time to grab it.

I honestly didn't think about keeping the TN panel for web reference, clever thinking cheers!

I'm running a GTX470 TwinFrozr II, so hoping that should handle the Hazro? I'll upgrade at some point in the future though, so It'll be a temporary solution.
