Purchase or wait?

I recently bought a new overclocked PC and i need to add a montior to it...

My question is should i purchase one now or wait for the new Free Sync monitors?

eta of release of said monitors?

What's your budget & what games are you looking to play?

budget is between £300-£400 but i can go a bit over if required (wanting 27-28 inch)

ill be playing a wide range of games from FPS to MMOs to RTS
