Purchased a usb bluetooth device need a driver tho

hi,

cant identify manufacturer etc of the plug in stick but windows will not load any drivers for it.

any advice welcome, waiting on an email back from the guy i purchased off.

try these http://www.bluesoleil.com/ they seem to be quite widely used for bluetooth dongles

, d/l ran setup and it produces a error 143 and uninstalls .

try this inf..

extract both to say C:\bt\ then use device manager to update driver and point it at that directory, might work..

btw, you need winxp sp2

Which Windows you running m8, XP SP2? Because the Bluetooh drivers on that are excellent :cool:

got sp2 but it doesnt detect any drivers after its detected the bluetooth stick :confused:

yup, get a message :

Hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software.

only new hardware i can see shows up as ISSCBTA under Other devices in device manager.
