Purchased sofa, now cheaper week later?

Purchased a sofa last week for £400 and today its at £299, we haven't received the sofa yet, is there anything we can do?

You aren't legally entitled to the lower price. However if you bought the item online distance selling regulations should apply and you have 14 days to return the item. So you could return it and rebuy it at the cheaper price. Alternatively, you could phone and hope they are in a generous mood.

Refuse delivery and tell them you don't want it anymore. Go back a day later and reorder. (That is assuming they don't honour the discount.)

In a store can you get refunds? You could always complain, sometimes they will oblidge...

If it's made to order which most sofas are. Then distance selling act does not apply. So if you refuse it you could just end up paying for delivery again.

Check your old sofa. Bound to be £101 in there which will make up the difference
