Hi all,
Towards the end of this year I will be buying a new gaming pc, I would rather have Overclockers build it for me and i'm weighing up these 2 options;
1. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-213-OE&groupid=43&catid=2040&subcat= with 6950 2gb and win 7 home premium £799.98 inc VAT.
2. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/syscon_int.php?prodid=FS-282-OK Same spec (apart from mobo and psu) £957.66 inc VAT.
Am I missing something or are the mobo and PSU really worth the extra £157.68? I chose the cheapest mobo on number 2.
I have a £1,200 budget for buying a built gaming pc - what are my best options?
I like the idea of sli 560ti's, but have heard there is an issue with micro-stuttering on dual GPU card setups so maybe i'm better off with a single 570/6970?
I will be running 1920x1200 and plan to play BF3 on ultra if poss, if I can do this with a single GPU and not have to worry about micro-stuttering then that is ideal.
Thanks
