for some time now my sky picture has flickered and frozen on the odd occasion but I figured it was the weather. however today it started really freezing and eventually said no signal is being received. when i checked the set up it said there was signal. i checked the cable near the tv and its fine but when i looked at the one in the window which has my sky+ and internet cable coming out from it looks like this

Photo-0020-12.jpg

the cabling has come out and there are only two wires still connected inside, the orange and white one looks like its snapped off.

can i get a replacement cable from somewhere? im currently looking on the internet to see if i can get one from currys but just wondered if any of you guys would know.

any help would be great

i pushed the cables back in and it seems to be okay now but i would like to change the cable as the guy has stretched it around the skirting too tightly and so it could happen again.

if anyone knows where i can find them that would be very helpful.

its a camera phone
its the sky cable it even says "this is your sky cable"

and as soon as i pushed the wires back in the sky was working so yes it does affect sky! its plugged into the adsl thing then my internet cable is plugged into the sky thing

im in surrey why?

i have the phone socket, then i have an adsl filter, then the sky cable is plugged into the filter.

the sky cable i have is the same on both ends. the one by the tv as a black telephone cable that goes to the box then I have two leads coming from the dish that leads to the back of the sky box

then why did it not work when the wires were loose but as soon as i pushed the wires back in, it works?

i checked the set up and it said i had a good signal strength but the picture said "no signal received"

then i put wires back in and its all fine!
