Hey all,
I've built 3 gaming PC's within the last 12 years, but sold my last one about 4 years ago. Since then I've been completely Mac based so just doing the odd bit of gaming—so I'm a little out of the loop of current configs and specs.
The main game I'm playing on my Macbook currently is CS:GO but only at about ~60fps.
The rig will mainly need to handle CS:GO, but I'd also like to try a few of the newer games since I last played, eg: BF1/PUBG/Overwatch and possibly even Destiny2.
Budget is £500-600 for just the rig (case/mobo/cpu/gpu/ram/hdd/psu/network) (I have monitor's/peripherals)- possibly up to £700 if there are substantial gains to be made.
I also don't mind buying second hand if that helps.
This build will be PURELY for gaming (not a single bit of word/browsing etc as I'll still use my mac for that)—not that it probably makes a difference, just thought I'd mention it incase there's any odd edge cases that could be thought of.
