Anyway, showers and main changing rooms I believe are off limits from 12 midnight until 5am. However there is a separate shower and changing room on the main floor. There are also lockers on the main gym floor.

No idea why it takes 5 hours to clean the showers, they do it every hour anyway.

Hex plates aren't ideal, but I can't ignore the fact I still made decent progress on my deadlifts using them.

Naturally, gotta work with what you have at the end of the day. I got used to them in the 4 weeks I used DW, but my God they were annoying.

My DW's aren't hex, they're almost round but have 4 notches, eitherside of the grip molds that still cause a roll

Thought I'd bump this in case this helps anyone.

I've been a member of Pure for 2 years paying £16.99. The in price rose to £17.99 then £18.99 so I was quite happy still paying £16.99

They have just reduced the membership prices to some gyms and all you have to do is call up and ask for it. No resistance whatsoever. I'm now paying £15.99 and still a price for life. Ok, it's only £1 saving but will be £2 and £3 for many.

I don't know how many gyms have been reduced but both of the Stoke ones have. Both now show as £15.99 on their site

Still £18.99 here but they're dropped the joining fee from £25 to £10 since I joined, not that it's any use to me

Most gyms, even 24hr ones will be quiet come 10pm.

It's a great time to train if you can get your food in and then sleep without an issue.

not in my gym.. still buzzing till 11.45-ish.. best time/day to go is saturday ~1am 20-30 people in at most.. where at 10(the time I go during weekdays) its so full that its hard to breathe
